We're excited you're considering or have already chosen to book one of our Gulf Shores vacation rentals. We offer a variety of resources to help you plan the perfect vacation. Check out our Gulf Shores Vacation Guide, and please reference the list below so you know what to bring on your vacation.
We've Got the Basics Covered for You!
- Bedding: We provide bed linens for each bed, along with an extra blanket in the closet and clothes hangers.
- Bath: Bath towels are provided with one set per person.
- Toiletries: You'll receive a starting supply of two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, along with a small set of shampoo and conditioner, body wash, body lotion, a body bar, and hand soap.
- Kitchen: Dishwashing soaps (1 full bottle per kitchen) are provided, along with a startup supply of two rolls of paper towels and trash bags.
- Laundry: Laundry detergent (1 full bottle per laundry room) is also provided, and at least one laundry room is available for your use during your stay.
Things to Bring
Household and Personal Items
- Shampoo, Toiletries, Hairdryers: We do provide a small set of toiletries, but you may want to bring your personal items and any daily essentials, such as vitamins, to ensure you feel your best during your stay. Hair dryers aren't included, but we highly recommend embracing "beach hair" while on vacation!
- Coffee Filters: The kitchens are well-stocked with silverware, kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans, as well as small appliances like toasters, blenders, and coffee makers. All of our homes include both Keurig and drip coffee makers. Please note that most of our drip coffee makers require basket filters, so don't forget to bring those.
- Seasonings, Cooking Oils, Foil, Napkins: Our kitchens are well-stocked with dishes and pans, but you'll need to bring all of your ingredients and seasonings, as well as any foil, plastic wrap, and sandwich bags for leftovers.
- Baby Equipment: We do not have baby equipment at any of our houses. Houses are not baby-proofed before your arrival. We do sometimes have children’s movies, games or toys. You can rent a range of beach and baby gear that will be waiting for you when you arrive.
Beach Gear
- Beach Towels: You will need to bring beach/pool towels.
- Beach Gear: Each of our homes includes some sand chairs for your use at the beach. You may also find additional items like pool floats and boogie boards left by previous guests, but we can't guarantee their availability or what will be at the house during your stay. You'll want to bring beach umbrellas or canopies, or consider renting them.
Don't forget the Leave Only Footsteps ordinance requiring everything be removed from the beach each evening!
Daily Set Up/Take Down Services
During the summer only, there are a couple of local companies that offer daily set-up/take down service for Beachfront homes in Gulf Shores.
High Wave 59 Beach Service offers beach goers’ premium beach chair rentals and water sport activities delivered to your door. From chairs and umbrellas to surfboards and kayaks they can supply you with all the commodities that make a beach vacation comfortable and entertaining.
iBeachservice provides canopy service, beach chairs, and more. For Lagoon-front properties you'll enjoy kayaks and paddle boards. Off to the beach? They have hammocks, beach umbrellas and folding beach chaises but you will be responsible for transporting those each day. Call them at 251-504-0097.
