The Gulf Shores Sportsplex is a 100-acre sporting facility which annually plays host to many sporting events including USSSA World Series baseball tournaments, the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, the AHSAA State Track Championships and many more. The Gulf Shores High School "Dolphins" call the Sportsplex HOME, providing fields and facilities for Varsity and Junior Varsity Baseball, Softball, Football and Track.
