Description

Sea Blue is an amazing beachfront home with gracious spaces and beautiful furnishings and a private pool. The real surprise is the inside! The spacious great room has seating for everyone, a dining table you'll want to gather around, and an amazing kitchen complete with a view of the beach.

The main floor has the great room, a powder room and a lovely Queen bedroom with a private bath. Upstairs you'll find 3 more bedrooms, each with a private bath and flat-screen TV. These include a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with 2 Twin over Full Bunks, and a wonderful beachfront King Master where you can wake up to a view of the sea. The master has a private beachfront porch and a deluxe bath where you can enjoy the views or the sunset while you soak in the tub. It also has a double vanity, a separate shower, and a private water closet. You'll also find a TV nook that is perfect for the kids to relax or to hook up their games, and the laundry.

On the north side of Sea Blue you'll enjoy your own Private Pool, complete with a waterfall feature. It is a perfect place to cool off or take a break from the sand and salt. We find it is a must-have for the kids in our family.

The real star of the show at Sea Blue is the beautiful sugar-white sand beach. Both floors feature porches that span the width of the house so you can relax and take in the view. There is an outdoor dining table so you can enjoy breakfast while you watch the dolphins. There is a dune walkover that puts you within a few easy steps of the Gulf. In the shady area under the house you'll find a charcoal grill, and a long picnic table.

The house accommodates up to 12 guests (maximum of 8 adults). Sorry, we are unable to rent to groups under the age of 25.

Sea Blue Vacation Rental is located in the West Beach area of Gulf Shores, about 4 miles west of Hwy 59.

Stayed in Sea Blue for the first time in the winter of 2024 and it is up to the high standard of other GSVR properties we have stayed in while at the same time having a more cozy feel with four bedrooms.
The house was well maintained and any minor uses we had during our two month stay were addressed promptly and appropriately as usual by the GSVR staff.
The only minor reservation we had before staying was its proximity to the Dunes walkover and beach access for the Mustique Condos across the street but this turned out to be lightly and responsibly used so it was not an issue.
The one negative we had was the fact the pool was unheated but that didn’t deter our grandkids from using it anyway!
The best advert is to say we would and will stay again at Sea Blue.

The house was perfect for our family vacation. Having the private beach access at our back door was awesome with little ones. We didn't have to load up a wagon and haul it through a neighborhood or across the street. The private pool was a must with little children. The house, pool and outdoor porches are VERY well maintained. The house was very clean. We booked in advance with a separate company to have 2 baby beds delivered for when we arrived. They were not, and the company was closed. I called Tracy with the Gulf Shores Vacation Rental company and she was able to contact them and get the cribs delivered! Life Saver! We had a couple of other minor issues and once again Tracy took care of them immediately. We loved the location of the house. It is convenient to everything but not in the middle of the busy area. We will definitely rent this property again!

This was the second year we chose Sea Blue for our annual family vacation. Our experience was excellent. We arrived on our first day and the air conditioner was not cooling, however, one call to Tracey and it was fixed that same evening. The house is well maintained and clean. The pool was perfect for our grandsons. The back porches are wonderful with the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves. We spent half our time at the beach with chairs and umbrellas. The beach is not crowded and it nice and quiet at night. We cooked several meals in the well equipped kitchen and on the grill. It’s the perfect house for a great family vacation.

We come every year, the last several years we have stayed at Sea Blue because the location, private pool & dune walkover are hard to beat. The new flooring is great, but would love to see some furniture replaced. Some of the arm chairs are very dirty & torn. The private pool is perfect for our group of 7. There are lots of pool floats, beach toys & outdoor chairs available to use. The beach front here is amazing! Very little foot traffic, always plenty of space to spread out on the beach & play. I highly recommend this place & we will be back next year!

Our experience was great! No issues with the house at all. It was supplied with everything that we needed. We left a day earlier to beat a snow storm out of Ohio and the allowed us to get in the house a day earlier. We also decided to stay 1 extra day and they allowed that as well. This house has the most amazing views of the sunrise and the sunset. We got to see a Blue Angel fly over as well as some Dolphins right out in front of the house a few days. You definitely want to stay here.

The home was even better than depicted in the pictures! The weather was not great the week we stayed so it would have been nice if the pool was heated. There was also an issue with a group in the house a couple doors down setting off fireworks at 3am a couple of nights. Overall, the house and location were fantastic!

Property was as described, clean,great costumer service. The house was beautiful. We had plenty of room with five adults and five kids. When we tired of the sand we swam in the salt water pool. The ocean view was stunning. We had the best time and we would definitely rent the house again.

Sea Blu was the perfect vacation home for our family. There was enough space for our family to gather for meals and to watch the beautiful Sunsets, and plenty of space to spread out if needed. The house was clean and well maintained. The pool was sparkling clean. We had one issue when we arrived due a cyclone coming through the day before and it was resolved within a few hours.

House was better than the pictures! We had a beautiful beach as well as a nice pool to use. Perfect for families w/ children. Would suggest property owners add additional amenities for children such as: high chair, gates, pack n play, etc. but wouldn't cause us to not rent again. Highly recommend the Sea Blue.

I originally grew up in the area but still have family in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. Sea Blue was perfect for us to get away for a week and have family spend time together. The house is very well kept, clean and quiet. The kitchen and dining area is perfect for hosting larger groups and there's plenty of quaint areas throughout for just hanging out. Lastly, the location is close enough to shopping, restaurants, etc., but plenty far away to escape the busier areas of Gulf Shores.

Our family loved our stay at Sea Blue! The house was perfect for our needs and great location! Also, the management staff was awesome. We had an issue with the access code and the last step on the bridge was missing, but both issues were resolved immediately. We are already planning our return to Sea Blue.

Interested in instant beach access? This place is for you. Beach was not very busy. Nice sandbar during low tide. Shells to check out. Rooms of house nice. Quiet at night. Restaurants/groceries within short driving. Group had two dolphin spottings during week.

My family ~ 9 members ~ 3 generations stayed at your property for a week! This was our second stay and it was perfect. We had every family in their own space, being right on the Gulf was awesome as we were able to watch dolphins swim by almost every day. Everything was perfect!

Our extended family of ten spent our Spring Break soaking up the sun and enjoying the views at Sea Blue. The property was the perfect location to access the beach easily. Our father who has mobility issues was able to rent a beach wheel chair that allowed him to have easy access to the beach so he could enjoy the time watching the grandkids play in the waves.
The house was beautiful and had many of the comforts of home to make the stay feel effortless. I would love to stay at Sea Blue in the future and highly recommend it to others.

I originally reserved this house 7 months in advance for one of my bucket list vacations. I've always dreamed of a family beach vacation. We live in central Missouri, as well as our daughter and her family. Our son and daughter-in-law live in Houston, TX. So we don't all get together very often. We ALL loved the house and the location. Each couple had their own bedroom and bath, as well as our oldest granddaughter, which she loved having her own room and bath. We were all able to spread out but still able to spend quality time together as a family. The house was stocked very well, we had everything we needed and more. The pool was great and our granddaughters, 11 and 2 years old, loved it.

The location was fantastic. The beach was not crowded at all. And the views were amazing. I personally loved the deck off the master bedroom. It gave me a place to go when I wanted to have some quiet time.

Th only minor negative, is some of the living room furniture is starting to show some wear & tear. But not enough to keep me from staying there again in a heart beat!

We loved staying at Sea Blue!!! Definitely a 5 star rating.

This was a great home in a great location. We stayed for a soccer tournament and the location was close to the soccer fields and restaurants. We loved being right on the beach and sitting on the amazing porches. We would love to stay her again!

Beautiful home! Very clean and well stocked. The master bathroom is awesome! The shower is heaven! Love the close proximity to the beach and the boardwalk! The pool was beautiful and well maintained!!! Enjoyed our stay!

This house is a perfect vacation getaway. The pool sets it apart from other Gulf Shores homes I've stayed in, as well as the back deck and boardwalk to the beach. The rooms are spacious and it's great for a large group.

The house was perfect! We had 3 young children (4 and under) and it was very safe for them. Everything we needed was there. Having the private pool was wonderful! Beautiful setting, and even the weather was perfect! It would have been nice to have a gate at the top of the steps on the back deck but we brought one. Definitely Hope to stay there again!

We absolutely loved Sea Blue. The house exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, decorated with excellent taste, outstanding kitchen with great cookware and dishes. The beds, towels and bathroom accessories on par with luxury hotels. The master bath shower and tub were awesome!! We had beautiful weather so we were able to take advantage of both the beach and he pool. We also saw the dolphins this year - such a beautiful site.

Geoff was VERY responsive and always answered his phone. We never had to leave a message or wait for response. He was great.

The only issue we had was with the option of reserving for same time next year.
We are still interested in Sea Blue for the entire month of February 2018. I sincerely hope we are able to reserve the house next year.

I was very excited to stay in this home due to all the great reviews. The home is beautiful, we'll maintained, pool is clean and clear and best of all its a private pool, not shared. The home is direct beach front and the beaches are never crowded. There is a public beach access directly beside the house so you will see lots of people coming along side the home, but it's not bad. The house is about 10 minutes from walmart, 30 minutes from the outlet mall so rainy days you will have plenty to keep you busy. I hope you love staying at this home as much as we did!!

This was our second year at Gulf Shores and we had a wonderful week. The house met our family needs perfectly. We enjoyed great seafood, sand, surf, dolphins, seagulls, herons, monarch butterfly's migrating, even the rain, tornado warnings and waterspouts kept things interesting! It always brings us great joy to watch our children and grandchildren enjoying the beach life! Love it! we will be back! :) The McIntyre Family

What a terrific house! Perfect in every way. We were there with the whole family to ring in the new year and again in January just the two of us. In dreary weather, Sea Blue was delightful. On sunny days, she sparkled. Beautifully decorated, perfectly thought out, incredibly situated.

Wonderful! Weather co-operated, with two storms, both at night! Loved the pool as an option to the beach and gulf water. Surprised the water was murky. Our friends were in Destin at the same time and had very clear water.
Sea Blue was beautiful inside! We had a couple of small issues that were resolved. It took a few days to get the temp on the a/c regulated to not be so cold, so instructions on how to regulate the a/c would have been helpful.
The only thing I would recommend is you have the cleaning crew take a look at the coffee pot once in awhile. It had a terrible build up of coffee grind stains and took me awhile to get it cleaned up, so we could enjoy a fresh taste of coffee each morning.

I also recommend laminated instructions on the garbage disposal, washer/dryer, and refrigerator. The ice maker only worked a short time in the morning. Then no ice the rest of the day.

The cleaning crew was very considerate on allowing us in the pool about 2:30pm when we got to the house after lunch. We had 5 grandkids itching to get wet!

What a wonderful winter it was at Sea Blue for my husband and myself! Who could forget waking up to an incredible view from the master bedroom every morning? The house is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay... including a crockpot! The master bath shower is incredible. The private dune walkover is an awesome place where I had coffee every morning to welcome the day with the pelicans and waves. The weather cooperated and we were even able to use the pool for one day in February! The property managers, Geoff and Susan are prompt with any issues that arise, although ours were very minor (cable tv issues, etc). Do yourself a favor and rent Sea Blue. You won’t regret it. I would suggest additional dish cloths in the kitchen, as we only had one. Also, the large frying pan is in bad shape, but I probably just noticed this because I was there for two months and had to cook a lot. Enjoy!

Sea Blue is a beautiful property! We had a family of 11 celebrate spring break at the beach. This house is amazing! Beautifully decorated! Ocean front with a pool. However, the pool is not heated and was cold when we stayed so we really didn't get to use it. This house is right next to a public access, so the people renting across the street bombard the beach right in front of this house. You need to claim your beach area before these people take over the whole area. That is the only drawback to this house. Simply wonderful home and great vacation!

We planned a last minute getaway for Easter weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the luxurious accommodations at Sea Blue. It's the perfect space for a family. Being able to walk out the back patio and reach the beach is priceless. Everything we needed was there and not too far from the restaurants and attractions. We look forward to visiting again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our post-Christmas family vacation! Having rented from GSVR many times before, we knew it would be a top notch property. The upstairs master ensuite was perfect! We just returned from our bi-yearly family vacation to Gulf Shores. Out of all of the houses we have rented during the past 15 years, Sea Blue is our favorite! Everything about it is perfect. It is nearly new, spacious, and very clean.
The decor and furnishings are lovely. Check out the pictures of the Master Suite!
The kitchen is large and well-appointed. However, there is no separate ice maker aside from the one in the fridge.
Our group of six adults and four teenagers was very comfortable in Sea Blue. The bunk room was great for the girls, and our grandson used the small tv room upstairs as his bedroom.
Having the pool on the north side of the house actually works great. We used it often, and maintenance cleaned it twice while we were there.
A real bonus of this house is the private wooden walkway over the dunes. And, you are just steps from the beach. You will find about 15 beach chairs for your use and some beach toys. Very much appreciated.
We prefer this location on West Beach Blvd. The beach is less congested than the areas with high rises, but it’s still close enough to easily drive to stores and restaurants.
We loved everything about Sea Blue and hope to rent it again the next time we come. By the way, the “Hospitality” website was such a convenient way to pay, check in, check out, and communicate with GSVR.

The house was even more amazing in person.Everything was clean and well taken care of. The one issue with the door handle after we first arrived was fixed the next day. Plenty of beach chairs and amazing that kitchen had all we needed. Only thing to remember is bring beach towels and if you have tweens/teens bring beach games activities. Amazing trip!

Sea Blue is the best equipped vacation rental we've ever had! The kitchen is well appointed with EVERY tool you need, the air conditioning unit keeps the whole place constantly cool and the decor is comfortable and beautiful. The pool is a pleasant break from the beach and is large enough for the whole family and the private boardwalk to the beach is fantastic! The private balcony off the master bedroom on the 2nd floor is a beautiful place to reflect & unwind. The management staff is quick to take care of any issues and will answer the phone any time of day.
Sea Blue is an amazing property for a vacation!

The location of the property was perfect and the pool was a great addition. The inside of the property was clean and neat but the outside of the property was dirty and needed immediate attention. When the property manager was contacted he immediately responded to our request and a representative was sent to address the issues. There were other minor repair issues that needed attention during the week and when the management company was contacted they responded in a timely manner. It was nice to have private access to the beach and have a shower under the house. The bedrooms were spacious and the master bedroom shower was fantastic. Sea Blue meet all our needs and would recommend this place to any family looking for a great beach experience.

Sea Blue is a beautiful home and has just about everything you need! The home perfectly accommodated 7 adults, 2 toddlers, and 1 infant. The home itself is perfect with a gorgeous view of the ocean! The only drawback is the public access located next to the home. Folks across the street gravitated to the beach area in front of the home. We had to get up super early to set up our things which worked but not my desire to get up so early each day of vacation. It would be nice if there were markers or something to prevent them taking over the beach area. Other than that, the home is lovely and everyone enjoyed their time in Gulf Shores.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. We were able to have a family get away that included 7 adults and 2 children under the age of five years. This beautiful home right on the beach allowed everyone to have their own bedroom. Sitting on the deck watching the dolphins play was so relaxing. The management of this property was so helpful. We will be back.

The home was beautiful. The main living area was large, well designed, beautifully decorated and clean. It accommodated more than adequately 11 people. We had two minor issues but both were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. The property mgmt. were very professional and quick to satisfy our needs. We were disappointed with the boardwalk that was right next door to the property. It was also a public beach and we always had tents and their owners in front of the house. We prefer a private beach. However, if that particular issue does not warrant concerns by the renter, then I would highly recommend this house.

This home is beautifully furnished and the layout was perfect for our family of 6 and grandparents, and brother/sister-in-law (total of 6 adults and 4 kids). We spent an equal amount of time in the pool as the ocean and the convenience of staying on the beach was fantastic. Everything was in good shape, we used the charcoal grill a few times. Any minor questions/issues we had were taken care of very promptly. We will definitely be renting this house again next time we go to Gulf Shores!

Oh my gosh, we loved this place. Super clean upon arrival. Decorated tastefully. Perfect Location. We will definitely rent here again. Sometimes you don't know what you are getting using VRBO but this is the best place EVER! Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate during Spring Break. The Staff was superb. Friendly and eager to help if anything goes wrong (but nothing did)! The only thing I would request are a few more bath towels.

Excellent overall. Two minor complaints. The master suite bed was not comfortable at all. Rental tents were up when we arrived for people from Mustique and it appears the beach access next to the house is now public. However, we like the house so much we made our reservation for next year (4th stay at this house).

We were speechless when we arrived inside the house! The view of the ocean was perfect, two outdoor patios had perfect seating for relaxing outside, the pool was perfect if we didn't feel like getting in the ocean. Perfect is all I can say. We had all the kitchen utensils we needed, all the beddin and linens. It was great. I'd highly recommend this to anyone. We expected to go out more, but having our own private walkway to the beach and private pool made it great for staying there!

The home is beautiful and the views are amazing. The distance to the beach is perfect super simple to come and go with ease. It is not meantioned in the description of the property but on top of the three private bedrooms and the bunk bed room that sleeps 4 there is also a futon in the tv room and a pull out sofa in the living room so in reality there are 9 beds and this was a pleasant surprise. The home was well equipped with all kitchen items and beautiful.
