Description

Good Time Charlie is a charming waterfront home situated on Little Lagoon in the West Beach area of Gulf Shores, with beach access nearby. This property features stunning lagoon views, a private 18'x8' pool that can be heated from October to May for $60 per day, and access to a shared pier and boat launch. Accommodating up to 16 guests (maximum 12 adults), the house includes 6 bedrooms, each with a private bath, Smart TV, and comfortable beds.

The beach access is located at Lagoon Pass Park, just a 5-minute walk from the home. This park is a great spot for enjoying the beach, with public parking available for $15 per day, restrooms, and outdoor showers available on the north side. The public beach is across the road.

On the main floor, you'll find the living and dining areas, a well-stocked kitchen, laundry facilities, 2 King Bedrooms, and 3 full baths.

The top floor features a King primary suite with a private balcony and deluxe bath, including a double vanity, large tub, and separate shower. Additionally, there is another King Bedroom and two bedrooms, each with a pair of Queen beds. The upstairs landing offers a seating area with a television for added relaxation space.

Outdoors, the pool area provides beautiful views of Little Lagoon and plenty of room to unwind. You'll also find a fire pit and a charcoal grill, perfect for outdoor gatherings.

The house is pet-friendly, allowing up to 2 dogs. There is an additional pet fee of $348.

Nestled in the quiet and family-friendly Lagoon Pass neighborhood, this home is ideal for those who love fishing and wildlife. You'll often spot herons and pelicans on both the lagoon and Gulf sides.

This property is not available for rental to groups under the age of 25 or for bachelor or bachelorette parties. For the Hangout Music Festival, a $1000 refundable damage/cleaning deposit is required to ensure the property is maintained as expected.

We had 9 people in the home and had plenty of room. The house was very clean and well equipped. The outdoor space was very nice as well since it rained quite a bit while we were there. The customer service was amazing and the free activities were much appreciated. We'll visit again!

This is our third time staying at Good Time Charlie. We love it!! It is the perfect location. You have the ocean across the road, the bay in your backyard with a fishing pier. And a swimming pool!! The house is beautiful and spacious. We will definitely be back in two years!

Was one of the best houses we have rented. Was perfect for our 14 adults and 3 littles. Plenty of room to all sit in the house and rooms were great to accommodate our crowd. Would enjoy a little bigger pool but it still worked fine for us!!

Really enjoyed our stay at Good Time Charlie. The house was clean and seemed fairly new. The kitchen was VERY well stocked! Beds were comfy and the living areas had plenty of seating for all 15 of us. The bay and dock provided beautiful views of the sunset and was a quiet retreat from the beach. The walk to the beach was a little more than I would have liked, but it was still manageable. There was no hard pack on the beach, so hauling a lot of stuff in wagon/carriers is quite difficult once you get to the sand.

Would definitely stay here again!

The photos don’t do this house justice. We were greeted with an immaculately clean home and a fully functioning air conditioning system did not disappoint. The layout is amazing and full of space! Our family loved that they all had a private bedroom AND private bathroom!!

The ground floor has everything you might want. We especially enjoyed the pool, swings and fire pit area. The lagoon gives you a beautiful view of the
sunset and we would have loved to fish but forgot our poles.

It was a convenient walk to the beach and we utilized a beach wagon to haul our stuff. I only wish we had another week to take advantage of everything this house had to offer.

We are a group of 14 nurses that choose a different destination each year. This was our 8th annual trip and by far one of our favorite homes and destinations. The house was pristine and everything we expected. We were so pleased with the kitchen having everything we needed to make meals at home. The pool was fantastic. Lots of chairs for all of us. The beach chairs were a bonus too!

We were overly impressed with the kitchen stuff! It was very well stocked with items needed and used. Dishwasher wasn’t working fully, but hot soapy water did the job. Dryer wasn’t working, but owners had a repairman fix it on thanksgiving day! All guest were very please with home.

8 men stayed at this fabulous house. Each person had his own Queen sized bed. Great room and kitchen area were just what we needed. We used the BBQ pit downstairs 2 nights. Very pleasurable stay. We plan to rebook for 2025.

We had such an amazing time. Our rental exceeded our expectations. If we had a concern it was taken care of promptly. We rented Good Time Charlie for a big family vacation. Location of the house was great being in it own little cul-de-sac off the Lagoon. It was a great house for 4 set of families with little kids. The pool was a big hit with kids along with the sand area and the dock with the lagoon right there. They loved going by the water at night looking for hermit crabs and fishing. The whole house was clean and fully stocked. It also has extra chairs to use when going to the beach. Would definitely rent again.

Lots of fun was had by our family of 15! We came down for my wedding! The ease of renting and the great customer service from Gulf Shores Vacations made this time special! This vacation home is perfectly located on Little Lagoon, a very short walk to The Gulf, and only a 5 minute drive to the Gulf State Park, where our ceremony was held. It’s within a short drive to shopping, restaurants, and fun activities. We had 11 adults, 4 kids, and two small pups. Plenty of room for everyone! Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was a huge bonus!! The pool was perfect, no need to have it heated. The ONLY negative thing was the lack of yard/grass for the dogs to potty. We knew this could happen being waterfront. However, the plants surrounding us were prickly and had burrs that caused major pain and fear in the dogs. We were able to take them on walks around the quaint neighborhood which they loved, just not always convenient. I called CS and they sent someone immediately to try to fix the issue. It didn’t help, totally not their fault (weather, location, elements) and we were appreciative of their efforts.

We always spend the week between Christmas and New Years as a family in Gulf Shores or on 30A. This house was voted favorite!! It was perfect size, layout, and location. The kitchen was made and supplied to actually be used. The dock, pool, and sand area were perfect and we even had space for our corn hole games that we brought from home! We brought our Brompton bikes and such easy access to trails. We had a great time.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Good Time Charlie. The house is in a great location at the end of a culdesac. The kitchen was well equipped with a selection of appliances. We had bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone and loved the swimming pool. My brother, father, and I got to fish in the lagoon and had some luck! The only negative was that it was chilly!

My entire family of 11 (8 adults, 3 children ages 6 months, 2, 4) plus two dogs had ample room. Fantastic location. We didn’t have to worry about the kids running to the beach unsupervised. The heated pool was awesome for November. Pier fishing was a plus. We saw mantas and crab in the lagoon. No one was crowded. The kitchen was abundantly stocked. Beds super comfortable. Coffee pot was missing, and the staff delivered one at 8pm. Perfect location and setting to watch LSU beat Alabama. Lol. Will be back!!!

We had a wonderful family vacation at Good Time Charlie rental house!! First, the house was very spacious and very well appointed with everything we needed!! It was immaculate! The location was beautiful right on the Lagoon which has the most beautiful sunsets!! And the kids loved the pool and the swings downstairs!! One of our favorite places was the fire pit area...very comfortable Adirondack chair’s perfect for watching the sunsets!!

What an awesome property with so much to offer the whole family. This was our 2nd stay at Good Time Charlie and all 13 family members loved the house just as much as before. The home was very clean and pristine upon entry. With all en-suite baths and 4 great king beds and 2 double queen bedrooms everyone was very comfortable. The grand kids loved the pool and sandy play area and fished off the pier and made s‘mores one night. The beauty of the lagoon and the wildlife was enjoyed every day and the cool breezes were great. We rented paddle boards that were delivered to the house to add to the fun. We brought a boat and launching right next door was easy. Some of the family rarely went to the gulf beach because they enjoyed the lagoon property so much. The living area of the house was spacious with ample seating for our big group. The kitchen was fully stocked with silverware, dishes, great pots and pans and many various appliances. The new mini fridge in the huge walk in pantry was a great addition and helped us get drinks cooled. There are 3 full baths on the main level, but none of them have a walk in shower which would have been helpful for a handicapped family member who didn’t want to climb another set of stairs. Also on our wish list would be the addition of an ice maker, but this time we didn’t have to buy ice as often as before. We had no maintenance issues during our stay, but the management company let us know they were there if we needed them. Our family would love to return to this fabulous, fun, beautiful property in the future. This is one of the best places our family has stayed in over the 35 years of visiting Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.

This vacation home was the best place that we have stayed at so far. It was very clean and well maintained inside and out. The pool was clean and a decent size for cooling off. The Lagoon Pass neighborhood was quiet and a short 5 minute walk to the beach. The only thing that would make it better is another full size fridge. We had 16 people so one double door fridge and a mini fridge were not enough but we used coolers for drinks to make it work. The kitchen was very well stocked otherwise. Overall, this house was great!

We absolutely loved this house. The location was awesome! We loved having a pool to get into after the beach. The rooms were spacious and there was so much seating in the living room. We loved how big the kitchen is. One of the favorites was the dock and being able to fish off of it. We will be back!

Our family of 4 met up with another family of 4 at this wonderful vacation home. The house was immaculately kept and comfortable. There was plenty of space for us to all hang out, as well as personal space for each of us, we actually wished we had invited more people to join us. The kitchen was the very well stocked as far as appliances and utensils, making cooking a breeze while we were here. The staff was very communicative, and responsive to my inquiries. We only had one issue while there, and the maintenance personnel showed up within an hour of me reporting the issue. We were very impressed, and would definitely rent again. We enjoyed the dock access to the lagoon, and being able to walk to the beach. We opted to heat the pool, and despite fairly cool temps while we were there, we all enjoyed swimming.

Good Time Charlie was an amazing place to stay. The place was beautiful both inside and out, and the communication with the management company was spot on. The private pool was a hit. We took advantage of some of the complimentary ticket offerings with the dolphin cruise and parasailing. We rented a boat at the Wharf, and we also enjoyed an afternoon at Flora-Bama. The beer at the local brewery was great, and dinner at Tacky Jacks, the Gulf Restaurant and Bahama Bobs were all delicious. We had a fantastic trip!

We have 3 grown kids and of course their families. This year we adopted our daughter in laws sister and husband who also came along. This house is an easy walk to the gulf but actually sits on the lagoon which we enjoyed. This house accommodated our 12 with no problem. The great room kitchen dining living worked well for us. Many of our group enjoyed the pool as well. I’d recommend this property to you and your group. We’ve stayed at other houses that had separate dens or living areas which is fine but this great room brought us all into contact which worked for us.

Good Time Charlie did not fail us. everything was on point.
The only thing is people who travel with pets should keep their pets off on beds and furniture. The cleaning crew was great but lots "BLACK PET HAIR" on throw pillows and on the comforters was really bad.

We loved the house and the location!! House had plenty of room and was very clean. The pool was a bonus for sure. The grandchildren loved the ocean, the pool and the bay. Although we arrived in a terrible rain storm to a house without electricity, we were only in the dark for about an hour. The rest of the week was great. This was the second year we have stayed at this house. We enjoy the house location, close enough to activities but away from the heavy traffic. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The pool is small but was still enjoyable.

The house is beautiful and very clean. The beds were so comfortable!! The lagoon was beautiful & great for fishing. Kids loved searching for hermit crabs. Gulf is just a short walk away, and was never crowded. Amid this pandemic, this was the perfect & much needed getaway. With having a pool, lagoon and the gulf within walking distance, we only left to get food. Thank you to Geoff who was very responsive to all our questions.

Good Time Charlie is a well maintained rental. Very clean and a lot of space. We had a party of 12 (8 adults, 4 children and dogs.) Upon our arrival we had a basket of delicious treats waiting for us under the Christmas tree. The kitchen was well appointed including a Keurig machine, crock pot, electric wok and other appliances you don't know you need until you see them. The heated pool was a bonus for the children. Management was easy to work with and very responsive to questions and requests. I would recommend this property and Gulf Shores Vacation Rental for your next Gulf Shores Vacation.

This was a golf buddies trip. We stayed here 2 years ago and it is perfect for 8 men- everybody has there own bed. The house was clean and the amenities were perfect. The location is good for us too; we don't want or need to be on the gulf side on the beach. We highly recommend using GSVR. They are attentive to our needs and very helpful. We plan to rebook for 2022.

We were so thrilled with Good Time Charlie's. The house is huge with bathrooms for each bedroom, all tastefully decorated. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen we've ever had in a rental. Everything was clean and well maintained. We called maintenance a couple of times and they were extremely prompt in taking care of the issues. The pier is so close we could watch the kids fishing with ease. Having a pool on the property helped us feel much safer in the environment of Covid. The beach is just a few minute walk away and having the beach chairs and wagon were a huge help. All of our family loved the beds. THe kids had fun catching crabs. We rented some kayaks for added fun. We were all grateful that it was in a family area that wasn't in the middle of the busy bustling strip. Picnic Beach and Lulu's were our favorite restaurants. The big boys chartered a deep sea fishing trip and came home with lots of red snapper and mackerel which we cooked the next day. Great to have the grill down stairs! We used the back deck and downstairs area a lot! Nice to have the two lounge swings outside too. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

All 10 adults and 6 kids really enjoyed our week at Good Time Charlie. The house is well stocked and comfortable. The pool is a bit small but that did not stop any of us from enjoying it. And the dock was nice to sit out on since it had shade. We would definitely come back.

Wow! What an awesome week we had at GTC! Our family of 11 adults and 4 children aged 6 months to 79 years all totally loved the house and the property on Little Lagoon. Our 3 grands (3, 5 and 9 yrs old) all cried because they did not want to leave. The home is lovely, modern and comfortable and was very clean and well stocked, including the kitchen. We loved the huge walk in panty and filled it up! We had plenty of room in the family area which was a big plus and everyone liked their rooms and beds. There was parking for all 5 cars and a boat trailer. The great pool right outside the door was a big hit as was the sandy play area for the little ones. The pier/dock and beautiful view, wildlife, and great swings were also enjoyed by all. One night we made s’mores on the fire pit even though it was hot outside! Many in our group accessed a sandy beach in the lagoon from the boat we brought. Boat launch next door was also convenient. The little ones caught their first fish and we all enjoyed gathering on the shared pier right next door. It was a walk to the beach for those who wanted to go, but there was so much to do at the house and lagoon, some barely went to the gulf. Our family cannot wait to go back and our grown kids are saying this was their best vacation ever!!! The challenge for us was only one refrigerator in that big house, but we made it work. We did have to go out for ice several times. The one icemaker on the refrigerator could not keep up and there were no other icemakers. We read in the reviews that guests enjoyed the ping pong table and were looking forward to a tournament... but it was locked up for owner use only. (We know it was destroyed in the hurricane and replaced so we do understand.) Management was wonderful and reached out to us several times to see if we needed anything. We had two very small things come up in the kitchen and they were addressed immediately. Best attentive management staff ever! Can't wait to go back!

We had a great time! The house was clean and in good condition. We ended up really enjoying having the water so close even though it wasn’t the ocean. Our kids liked fishing there. We rented a kayak for the week from GoGo Kayaks. They dropped off and picked up which was nice! We really liked having the heated pool for the days it was windy on the beach. We loved having a fire pit! The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and swings as well. The boat ramp is very slick so be careful. The rental company was very good! We had an issue with our beach chairs being older and broken, I text them, and they brought 8 new ones within a few hours! Very responsive! We loved Good Time Charlie!

The home was perfect for our 16 family members. The pool was great for all of us and the fishing from the pier was ideal for everyone! House was extremely clean and well maintained. Very spacious in the main living area where everyone was able to gather. Bedrooms were very comfortable.The one disappointing thing was that the dock was completely non-existant. It physically was not there. That was actually part of the reason we chose this property, so it was a huge let down. The management of the proprty was responsive in fixing the front door lock upon our arrival. Overall, was a really great experience.

We were a family of 8 adults and 8 kids. The house was spotless. Everyone loved everything about the house. The kitchen was very well stocked. We loved the huge walk-in pantry. There was plenty of seating in the great room. The grandkids loved the pier right outside our door. They loved catching crab’s in the lagoon. We also rented a kayak which was a big hit. Our group of 11 adults enjoyed our time here! Lots of space, clean, close walk to the beach! Close to restaurants, our favorites were The Beach Kitchen and Papa Roccos. We enjoyed having the pool for an afternoon swim and the fire pit was perfect for the one cool night we had. Only complaint was it needs another fridge. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful house, cleanest we have ever rented. Some minor maintenance issues that need to be addressed (some cracked tiles and grout issues in main living area, kitchen backsplash outlets near sink were not functional, tons of sand burrs which were problematic for our dogs). Well stocked kitchen. Easy walk to beach. Great fishing and crabbing off the community pier right outside the house. Great customer service with quick responses to a couple of questions that came up during our stay.

Our only suggestion is that this house have its name changed to Great Time Charlie. Our family had a great time in Gulf Shores. This house was in the perfect location to get to all of the attractions. The house itself was perfect for a family with little ones. We had plenty to do just by staying at the house. The staff were great to work with during the entire process. Anyone staying here will love it!

The rental was very nice and comfortable, even the beds were. Only thing is you need to be aware that when you open the gate to step out to the pool you need to step down. Had a couple people almost fall as it was not expected and hard to see. Also you will want the lights on when you go up and down the stairs inside as they are dark wood and you can easily miss the last one at the landing and at the bottom.

We have stayed at Good Time Charlie for 3 years and we booked our 4th!! Good Time Charlie is the perfect spot for our families. We love the location away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist side of Gulf Shores. The proximity to the beach is just right. The family loves having the dock right outside the back of the home where you can fish and swim in the lagoon. The little kids love the pool. The house has everything you need and more!

Great location, beautiful rental with lots of space for our gang of 15.
Nice furnishings and comfy beds for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked but really needs more silverware (enough for one meal at a time). The main floor area has some areas that the floor grouting is badly cracked/missing.
Biggest complaint would be cat hair all over our clothes from the couches and some of the bedrooms. Our family has several with allergies to cats so had issues with itchy eyes and stuffiness. No response at all from texts or email to management RE problems with TVs or any other questions. Did not have these issues with our last stay at another of the properties.

This is an amazing place with 6 bedrooms and 4 of them have kings size beds (which is a must for our family and a huge reason we rented this place!) The location is perfect, quiet, yet easy to get to any restaurants or stores. The interior decor is perfect and the space is great for large families! Don't really have a negative other than the pool chairs are uncomfortable so your backside gets sore after sitting for awhile! The management was very responsive for the few questions we had! We would rent this place again!

We LOVED GTC and all that it had to offer. Clean, well stocked-everything you could possibly need. Comfortable furnishings and beautiful views.
We loved having the pier right out the back and we found it really hard to leave the property to explore other things because the property had it all right there. The kids loved all the wild life and water fowl. We fished, crabbed and docked our boat right off the pier. We dream of coming back.

We stayed at Come to Pass with another family and our college aged children. This house was perfect! Everyone had a bed and bathroom which was wonderful. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. We loved the location because we were a very short walk across the street to the beach, and the lagoon was right outside our door where some of the kids enjoyed fishing and catching crabs. The pool was an added bonus. We would not hesitate to stay here again if/ when we decide to come back to Gulf Shores.

This condo/house was absolutely beautiful! The decor and cleanliness was superb! The beach feel and look was fabulous! The family enjoyed fishing from the lagoon in our backyard, checking out the fish at the lagoon pass across the street, and finally relaxing a short distance away, across the street on the beach. Even with Tropical Storm Cindy and double red flags on the beach, the children and adults enjoyed the private pool at the condo/house. Every room had its own bathroom, which gave a party of 16 an easy way to all get ready for a night out to eat. The condo/house was well stocked with everything you could need in a kitchen. The pantry gave us an easy way to store extra groceries for the week. The extra bathroom on the main level and laundry room was easily accessible to everyone! The closets and storage was well beyond what we imagined. It even had a couch in the upstairs hallway that allowed the kids a play area. They were able to set up a game system out of the rooms. We had parking for 4 cars easily, and the view from the back balconies was gorgeous! We highly recommend this condo/house, especially now, because of how new the condo/house is. Thank you for a great family vacation! We hope to be back, if we have a large group like this again! Check out Tacky Jack's, Lamberts, Lulu's, and The Hangout for great food, entertainment, and activities for children!

Wow - where to start? Geoff and the GSVR team were attentive and the house was exactly as advertised. We loved the privacy of the lagoon location and the beach was a very short stroll away. The kids really enjoyed the (small) pool and having a bath in every bedroom gave everyone their privacy. The amenities -
especially the kitchen and (large) gathering area -
were top-notch. The in-house Wi-fi and flat screen TVs everywhere kept everybody connected. We enjoyed the house (playing games, etc.) so much we pretty much passed on Gulf Shores attractions other than the beach. We enjoyed mini-golf at Pirate's Adventure and made the obligatory visit to LuLu's (OVERRATED!) but otherwise we hung out at Come to Pass most of the week. Definitely (in fact, already have!) will recommend to friends if they're looking for a place to connect with family or friends and spend time together.

We had a great time at Come to Pass! We have a pretty big family, and it was the perfect space for us. The pool was great, and the walk to the beach wasn't too bad! The only thing I would suggest is that a DVD player be put in one of the rooms. Our family loves certain movies that might not be available on Netflix.

The size of Come toPass was great for our family. The living room could use more seating space so that all guests could sit at the same time. The location allowed us to easily access several different beaches and the downtown area. The lagoon was perfect for the kayaks and paddle board that we rented.

Absolutely Beautiful home in an excellent location. Everything was thought out perfectly. We had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. The pool was beautiful and where we spent a lot of our time. Very short walk to the beach was great. Being lagoon front tops the ocean side when traveling with small children. The kids were able to wade in the water looking for crabs and playing in the sand. We traveled with 8 adults and 4 children. The house was perfect for a large group.
We have already booked for next year!

Believe the positive reviews. This home has it all. Be careful in two areas . There is not a railing to walk down the steps in the poool Several of us slipped but did not fall. Don’t walk on the concrete boat ramp. The concrete is smooth and extremely two daughters both slipped and busted their backsides.

Awesome experience! Great location. Although located on the bay, it was just a short walk to the beach with easy access. All beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone to feel like they had their own space. Pool was very nice.

Come To Pass was the perfect house for our family. We loved the private bath with each bedroom. The view on the bay was gorgeous. We fished some from the pier and used our kayaks to explore the bay. We enjoyed cooking fish on the downstairs grill. There was plenty of parking for everyone. The property was better even than the description and pics. The house and pool were clean and well-maintained. The kitchen lacked a pot big enough for a shrimp boil. I called Geoff and 2 pots were brought immediately. The beds were comfortable. The master bedroom was really nice. We let our daughter and her husband and 2 little girls stay in that room since they were the only ones with children. They set up the pac n play in one of the closets so the baby could sleep and nap without being woken up. There are lots of restaurants close by . Our groups favorite was Bahama Bobs. We got Pizza take out one night from a place about 1 mile down the road that was very good. The beach was a short walk (5 min) and was so nice to be away from the condo crowds. The guys had fun fishing on the beach and caught alot of white drum that were delicious on the grill. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a nice house on the bay.

We had a lovely time at Come to Pass. The house is really gorgeous, a very relaxing, beachy vibe. We found it to be very well located, an easy walk to the Gulf but off the main road so very quiet. We especially loved all the birds and monarch butterflies that were there during our stay!

Come To Pass is the perfect lodging for 8 golfers wishing to stay together, but have their own queen sized beds and private baths. In a great location away from the beaches but still on the water, with great views. Close to highway 59 for quick access to numerous golf courses. Very clean and spaceous living quarters, open air, with plenty of seating. We plan to return next year.

We were very blessed to have enjoyed a wonderful and long awaited family vacation with our children and grandchildren. Fun was had by all! The Come to Pass home was very spacious, clean and extremely equipped to accommodate all fifteen family members. We have grandchildren ranging from 9 months to 21 years, so there were all sorts of activities available for the kids. Our children rented a couple kayaks for the week, which was a big hit for the lagoon (the company dropped them off and picked them up). We had a beautiful view of the lagoon so we could watch everyone enjoy that. The kids brought their own poles and fished off of the pier that was outside our back door. The pool was also a life saver for everyone that wanted to relax or didn't go to the beach, including the little ones. The beach was only a five minute walk away. Supplied were beach chairs and a wagon to use, which was great! Also saving us from having to buy or bringing our own from home. There were some toys supplied as well for the beach and pool, including a small baby pool which was used for the little guy to keep him out of the sun. We ate in mostly and took turns cooking in a very large and well equipped kitchen, with tons of seating. When we were not at the beach we also enjoyed the museum, the zoo and golf which was also relatively nearby. Restaurants and ice cream shops were within a couple miles away. When we had questions or needs, Tracy took great care of all of them right away! Can't thank her enough! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone for an amazing family vacation experience!

This was the perfect house for us. It had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for the 13 of us. It is very updated and the kitchen was stocked for cooking better than any house we have ever rented. We had the best of both worlds because we had the private pool for the grandchildren and they also loved the pier. We had easy beach access without having to walk too far. I would highly recommend this house to anyone!!!!!!! Especially for all the perks at such a great price.

From the moment we walked through the door until the moment we walked out my family had nothing but wonderful things to say about the house. The location was perfect and convenient to everything including the beach. The house was clean and cool on arrival. We had no issues that required that we contact the management team. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels, the bed were comfortable as well as the furniture. The pool was perfect. The area was quiet and peaceful during the day and at night. However, on two separate occasions two rather large raccoons were sited near the fishing pier and pool area. My sisters and I alternate planning getaways and they all stated this rental has set the bar high. Everyone was impressed.

Our families absolutely loved our stay. The property is top notch, the extras available for our use made for some very happy kids (and adults). The pictures accurately portray the property and it is as beautiful as it looks. We loved having access to the lagoon just steps from our door. The walk to the public beach is quick and makes it easy to run back and forth when needing a break from the sun. We enjoyed that the property was away from the "main drag" and tourist spots while still being able to make the short drive. There is ample parking on site and the rental company quickly responded to our requests for recommendations of local companies for charters. We spent most of our time close to "home." We ventured out for a couple charters which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our favorite restaurants/establishments are Picnic Beach, Wolf Bay and Fisher's Dockside. We booked through two different locals for charters: Zeke's Landing is a great marina to book fishing charters, we are already planning our next one. We also enjoyed a dolphin cruise through Cetacean Cruises.

GTC is huge and tastefully decorated. The lagoon view is beautiful. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and quality linens. The kitchen is well-equipped, has lots of dishes, flatware and cups, and has a huge walk-in pantry. The pool isn't big, but it is surrounded by lots of lounge chairs and has a great view of the lagoon. The fire pit with chairs and ping-pong table provided hours of entertainment. The public beach access is close and GTC has rolling baskets to help tote your stuff across the street. The main road has dedicated walking/cycling lanes, so getting your exercise in is easy. Restaurants, liquor stores, and grocery stores are close and grocery delivery (from Publix) typically arrives in a few hours. The property manager was helpful and accommodating. We had a great time and hope to visit again soon.

We travel down to Gulf beaches at least once a year and I must say that we were HIGHLY impressed with this rental property. I would go so far to say that this has been our absolute favorite place we have stayed at over the past 10 years or so. This gorgeous home was everything and more as far as space, cleanliness, décor, amenities and being pet friendly. Having our own private pool with that amazing deck was a game changer, although the beach was literally about a 3 minute walk(we would walk down at night to watch the sunset!) There was a wagon, beach chairs, a fire pit right on your own little sandy beach area in the back yard, ping pong table, grill....when I say it felt like we were at our own private resort I'm not kidding. The six of us had more than enough room and we barely left the house. Good Time Charlie is on our radar for the near future again! I can't imagine every staying anywhere else while in Gulf Shores! We will 100% be back!
