Gulf Shores West Beach
When we first discovered Gulf Shores, AL, we fell in love with West Beach. This area quickly became our favorite seaside destination, and we couldn't help but share it will our friends and family. Vacation rentals on West Beach offer the most uncrowded beaches and spectacular waterfront views in the area. It features a combination of beach houses, duplexes, and a few luxury condos.
While rows of condo buildings overwhelm other areas of Gulf Shores, West Beach is far from the crowds and features smaller, more family-friendly properties and wide open shoreline. However, the area remains close to all the area attractions and great things to do. Even during the busiest weeks of the year, you'll never have trouble finding a spacious area in the sand for your beach chairs.
Gulf Shores Little Lagoon
Little Lagoon offers a wonderful alternative to West Beach and is another great place to stay in Gulf Shores. The area is just a few blocks from the Gulf of Mexico, but features unique water views of its own. Little Lagoon is one of the best places to stay in Gulf Shores with kids because it also offers plenty of great things to do outdoors. Little Lagoon features walking trails, a wildlife refuge, bike paths, and plenty of inland and pier fishing. In fact, some of our vacation rental homes on Little Lagoon feature boat slips, docks, and fishing piers of their own!
