We were blown away by how lovely AND comfortable this house was. It's so solid, clean and professionally decorated that it doesn't feel like you are staying in a vacation rental at all. Well-stocked, we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. I honestly cannot think of anything that the house was missing! The location is perfect and we had a fantastic getaway together as a family.

By far the best vacation rental we have stayed in at Gulf Shores. Great Location. You have the beach to yourselves. Beautiful home. Open the retractable deck doors and feel the ocean breeze. On suite bathrooms for every bedroom and washer/dryer combos both upstairs and downstairs. What more could you ask for. It exceeded all of our expectations. Expensive, but you get what you pay for!!! Hope to return next year.

We absolutely loved the house, cleanliness of the house, location and have already requested it for the same weekend next year. We did have a problem with the ice maker and freezer. We had to ask for maintenance twice, and when the man came, he said he didn't know what was wrong and didn't have any tools with him to try and fix it anyway. We managed and actually were able to get the ice maker to start working and scraped enough ice off the freezer door that it was able to get a good seal and worked better.

This is my fifth trip to the Gulf Coast and my first time staying in this house. It was my favorite by far. The house was clean and well stocked. The owners did a great job decorating and making their home comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope that I get an opportunity to! I almost hate recommending this property so highly for fear of it becoming even more popular. We have stayed there two years, and are booked for 2024. The house is well apportioned and is directly on West Beach Road down far enough that there are no condos near. It's perfect if you want to get away and not fight for your beach chair spot. You can hear your own music, or not, and you don't have to worry about your children and grandchildren wandering off. My wife and I have been taking our initially small family of 5 to a now crazy group of 15 to the beach for more than 20 years. This house is well situated for some of them who drive from Texas and for us to drive down from KY. It's a great house, a great view--it only needs your car in the driveway and your chair on the beach.

We immensely enjoyed our 8 day stay at Do South beach house, May 2023. The house contains everything our family needed to cook, chill and enjoy the beach and Gulf Shores. Beautiful views from the living areas and the 3 bedrooms facing the beach. So nice that each of the 5 bedrooms contains an ensuite. All kitchen items needed to cook and enjoy a family meal were provided. The rental company was very attentive to any questions or issues. We do hope to visit again very soon.

The property was beautiful. When we arrived it exceeded our expectations. It looked amazing in pictures but was even better in person. It was exceptionally clean and maintained. We could not believe how every detail was thought of ( two washers and dryers for example). We loved how close it was to the water, even enjoyed the games that the place offered. I’ve been renting homes in Gulf Shores for over 30 years, and Do South was by far the cleanest, nicest home we’ve stayed in. Furniture was comfortable, ample seating. I don’t know what brand of mattresses they are, but the beds were amazing. Kitchen was very well stocked.

My wife and I have traveled all over the world and even owned a couple of beach houses. But for a rental, this was the best I have ever been in. It was more than adequately stocked with pots, pans and needed kitchen utensils and dinnerware. The view was spectacular.
I realize it is a new property, but it did not lack for one single thing.

We absolutely loved staying here. We are two families that vacation together often 2 times yearly. This by far has been our favorite vacation home on the beach. It had everything that we needed. And by everything, I mean EVERYTHING. From cooking supplies, because we do not go out to eat. We cook every meal. To all the beach gear we needed. All the chairs were supplied. Even laundry detergent. We couldn't believe how it had everything. This is how you want a property to be. For that we that the owner and the rental company. THANK YOU!!!!! Best rental ever. Our group of 8 adults fully enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. This home is a little over a year old and is well maintained and very clean We had plenty of room as each living area is spacious and open. There are five good sized bedrooms and 5 private baths, plus a half bath downstairs. We have never stay in a home that was as well-stocked as this one. It is evident that the owners have given a great deal of thought to the needs of their perspective renters. The kitchen is really a pleasure to use and has top of the line appliances. The living room window wall telescopes to open up the entire wall facing the Gulf! It brings the beauty of nature right into the home. If you book this property, you will not be disappointed!

Brand new gorgeous high-end home with attention to details. Very well decorated. Guest rooms were all spacious and each had their own bath! Stand alone ice maker spoiled our party of 12 as we were always able to cool our drinks. The beach area could not have been better. No crowds. Huge kitchen with state of the art appliances were very impressive. Nice floors. Great balcony with additional seating for casual dining was a favorite place for the kids at meal time. Spiral staircase off the balcony was brilliant design as it helped minimize the inevitable sand that comes into the house. Best feature: the glass doors that give you a panoramic view of the ocean. Great wow effect as you come in. Now open the doors and you find they collapse into themselves so you now have direct open access to the balcony overlooking the beach.

Do South was our home away from home for a week. It was absolutely beautiful! The house was immaculate upon our arrival. We were a party of 13 (ages 60 down to 2) and had plenty of room for all. The house was right on the beach so we were steps away from the water. The absolute only issue we had is service people showed up 2 different times without a heads up from the rental agency/property management. Once was a quick in & out to check an issue prior renters had but the 2nd time was an on/off most of the day project. The people working the project were great though.

We enjoyed our stay at Do South very much. The home was beautifully decorated and so very comfortable. We loved the views from the living area and the kitchen. You could tell much thought had gone into stocking the kitchen, We had everything we could possibly need. Don’t know if it’s even possible but a boardwalk over the dune would have made it perfect. With 2 children under 2, the walk over the dune was a bit of an exercise. Loved the home and the privacy on the beach .

Do South is a gorgeous NEW custom 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath custom beachfront home in the West Beach area of Gulf Shores.

On the main floor you'll find expansive views from the living and dining areas and top-of-the-line kitchen, plus a beachfront master suite, and a laundry and powder room. The top floor features a family room, four additional bedrooms and a second laundry.

The master and the two upstairs beachfront bedrooms have king beds. The lagoon view bedroom on the east side has 2 bunks plus a trundle and sleeps a total of 5. The west side lagoon view bedroom has a pair of extra-long full size beds.
