Very Good Accommodation on the Beach

The house fit our group of 11 very comfortably! This was our second year staying here, and we will probably be coming back again. The kitchen was well stocked, and the appliances were pretty good. It had a big island and pantry, as well as a nice sofa and TV in the living area with a good-sized table and stools. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were very clean. The elevator was a great plus for bringing up luggage and coolers. We had great views of the beach from the large porch, which had lots of seating (but could use a sun screen on the east side). It had a private boardwalk that led out to a very wide beach with lots of room! The second refrigerator downstairs was a big help, and there was extra beach equipment available in the downstairs locker if needed. It had a decent charcoal grill, and the shaded small pool was great for cooling off. The management was very responsive, and we just had a couple of very minor items to report.

Great time at Summer Lovin'. Our family has been staying here for awhile. Loved the updates but still needs a little more attention. The weekend weather was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the beach, sun and family fellowship. It's our favorite Fall thing to do!

We had a family group of 7 adults and enjoyed our time at Summer Lovin' beach house. Every couple had a separate bedroom and bathroom. We opted for an elevator due to some medical issues with one of our relatives and found the elevator was not working during the check in. Management was quick to send help over to fix the issue. The check in was easy and the unit was clean and met our expectations. We also enjoyed the complementary Xplorie fishing trip with Zekes. That was a nice extra bonus!

Maybe even a 4.5. House was spacious, well equipped, and clean. Beds were comfortable. There were some cracks in a few floor tiles and it could use some caulk work in some baths. Great location although a little close to public beach access. Easy and private walk to beach. The elevator for guest use was very helpful once we figured it out. The small outdoor covered pool was great for relaxing. The downstairs refrigerator and nice new charcoal grill were a big plus. The balcony was large, mostly covered, and had ample seating. A sun shade on east side would be a great addition for morning coffee. There were a few minor issues which were promptly addressed. We did forget to report the glass shower door in the downstairs bath did not close all the way, but it still kept the water contained. Would definitely stay again.

Gulf Shores Vacation Rentals was very accommodating by allowing us a couple hour early check in. The rental was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a problem with lights flickering (we happened to be here during the big snowstorm of 2025) They responded quickly when we called and were very easy to work with. We left MO for our annual girls trip and a little warmer temperatures. The snow was beautiful and we got to experience snow and sand at the same time. I would definitely use GSVR in the future!!!

Summer Lovin is great even in the winter. We had three generations get to bond in the well appointed common areas. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the location can’t be beat.

We loved the house - it was the perfect spot for our family over Thanksgiving! The house was very clean and the layout was great. The location and proximity to the beach was ideal. The management company was responsive and helpful. The house was well-appointed. The only bummer was that there is some construction going on next door, which I wish we had been told. But otherwise, we would definitely recommend and we would visit again!

Had a wonderful stay. House had pretty much everything you need. It was a great location and beautiful home. A house was being built right next to us during our stay, but the waves drowned out most of the noise and it was kinda interesting to watch. It would have been nice for the pool to be heated warmer. When you pay that much extra it would be nice for it to be almost like a hot tub.

We were very pleased with the space of this home. Everyone having the ability for their own privacy was a plus. The bunk room and pool for the grand babies was a plus, when it rained. One of the TV's upstairs did not work, which we probably would not have noticed had it not rained. The property was clean, and the one issue with internet was corrected promptly. On the rain days there are indoor water parks, which the kids and adults enjoyed. Overall we were pleased with this home and have booked for next year.

The owners of this rental make your stay perfect. It has all you need to relax and enjoy your time at the beach. It was so nice to have plenty of towels for each bathroom and to have more than one towel for the kitchen area. The added bonus of a frig downstairs was awesome. We will definitely return to this rental and highly recommend it.

This was our 4th year in this house. It is very comfortable and the location can't be beat! We love that it has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Beds are very comfortable. The carport underneath is the perfect place to set up cornhole boards! We will be back next year!

Home was spacious, layout to give everyone privacy or to come together. Main deck was good size with comfortable seating. Upper deck could use some better seating. Management responded quickly to what issues we had. 2nd refrigerator downstairs was really handy since we did have a issue with the main floor refrigerator ice maker not working. Elevator was a nice amenity especially loading and unloading items. Location was convenient to everything but being next to a public beach access I could see how it could cause crowded conditions in peak times. Home was clean but furnishings are starting to show some wear. Overall I would stay here again as the good outweigh what issues we had.

Our women prayer group had a wonderful time at Summer Lovin even though it was during a tornado watch and cold weather. The open view to the ocean is beautiful. The balconies are spacious and plenty seating. Even though we didn't get to spend time on the balcony we enjoyed our morning and nightly devotions and playing games. Summer Lovin is located in a great area and if you want to cook it is very well stocked. We could not lock the back door so called them and someone came out very quickly but it turned out we just didn't know how to do it. You have to lift up the handle and turn the lock at the same time. Lol The elevator was a great plus. I recommend Summer Lovin and we will be back.

This is our third straight year at this house. It is so comfortable. Great equipped kitchen to cook all week. Nice to have a second refrigerator downstairs for drinks. The carport is perfect for setting up cornhole boards! The chairs on the beach facing patio are the perfect place for morning coffee. And of course being beachfront was perfect! Already booked for next year! Also we did Sandcastle University! She came right to us at the beach in front of the house. It was so much fun. Ate at The Flying Harpoon which is a favorite!

This was our first experience renting a beach house, we were extremely pleased, enough so we’ve already made plans for next year. The views from the decks were amazing. The sun room on the top level and the covered decks were perfect for the days it rained. I was nervous about the rental process, and what to expect, I shouldn’t have been. The rental company is awesome to work with! If a hot tub could be added under the deck on the south side, the house would be perfect. ;-)

This house was clean and very comfortable and well-equipped as advertised. The property manager was very responsive to the couple things we did need. We had extended family with all ages staying here and it worked so well--the shaded porch was really comfortable on hot days and the boardwalk made it easy to go back and forth to the house. My MIL really appreciated the elevator--it helped her be able to participate more! We highly recommend this property.

This house was great. We had a large group with both adults and children. All the bedrooms had their own private bathroom which was awesome. The kitchen was very well stocked. With our large group we ate in for nearly all meals. Outdoor space was amazing. One of the best deck we have had in a vacation home. Beach access could not have been more perfect. Splash pool was a great bonus if you wanted a break from the beach. Close enough to a activities to be convenient but far enough away that it didn’t feel crowded. We had 3 vehicles and parking was great. This may sound odd, but after many years of staying in beach rentals, one of the things we noticed was how easy the waste removal was! Someone came & took the trash cans to the road and returned them. We didn’t have to mess with them. Overall great experience!!

We had 15 members of our extended family here for a week. The location is perfect. Right on the beach and only 5-10 minutes to town. House was very clean and is so comfortable. The beach availability was a huge problem. There should be some way to make sure people in the condos across the street realize the beach area in front of houses are private. We had to take chairs down at 7am to secure a spot; otherwise, there was no room.

Also, the rug in the living room had a corner that was turned up which was a falling liability. You should check that out.

My husband recently suffered from a medical condition that confined him to a wheelchair. It made the entire vacation a challenge. The elevator and the dune walk over were very helpful. We rented a beach wheel chair and he was able to go to the beach everyday. The carpet on the stairs needs cleaning. Broken windows and screens upstairs need to be replaced. The beach was much too crowded for us I think due to the condos across the road.

Our third time to stay at Summer Lovin. Favorite location. Favorite house. The house is really “tired”. Windows and screens broken out on third floor Master sun porch. Paint inside and outside would help. Not all TVS in bedrooms worked. Carpets need replaced or at least cleaned. Overall, great amenities,well appointed. But “tired”. Not sure the owners visit, or they would agree. Looking for new place next year, but may be hard pressed to find something on the beach that all 17 of us would like better.

My family brought my Mom to this beach house to celebrate her 90th birthday. The house was great to accommodate 4 couples, as well as, our mother. Each bedroom had its own bath and the elevator was indispensable to get Mom into the house. Our only challenge was the shower for her, we had brought a shower chair but having an adjustable sprayer head and grab bars would have been helpful.
The house was perfectly located for us and the views were stunning. We all will cherish the opportunity to spend time with our family at this beach house.

This was our second stay at Summer Lovin. We chose it because it because each bedroom has its own bathroom, and because of the elevator. The house was clean but it needs some updating. The kitchen in particular needs another refrigerator--one is not sufficient for a house this size, and the one in the storage room is very inconvenient for kitchen use.
We saw several bugs during our stay(silver fish), some in kitchen and in some bathrooms.
The main deck was lacking in furniture--there was only a table with four chairs and one broken chair on the deck. We did contact the rental company about the lack of chairs and they brought over several within a few hours.

You have to book this one! We are definitely booking again!

The beautiful house, the views, the private beach access experience and the first class treatment from the management company, made this trip one to remember forever!

This beautiful home is well-equipped and maintained. The location could not be any better for relaxing afternoons and stunning sunsets. It is close enough to local favorite restaurants but far enough away from crowds or tourists. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our return!

This is a trip that our group of ladies had been planning for a year. We postponed our first date (April) due to Covid-19 and chose Halloween weekend. Little did we know that a hurricane would hit West Beach. Power was out, but was on by the time we got there Thursday afternoon. We loved everything about the house, but would suggest that the owners provide bigger pots and pans as we couldn't go out to eat. One other thing, there were not instructions for the TVs or stereo equipment.

The size of the house was perfect for us though and would go back again.

Will definitely be coming back!

This is our 5th year in a row staying on W Beach Blvd in October during Shrimp Fest. We have rented from GSV 3 times now and their homes are always fully equipped, well maintained, clean, and provide comfortable bedding, furniture, etc. This home was no different. It met our every need for our large group. The elevator was handy for luggage and groceries. The boardwalk was a HUGE plus and will def. be on our "must haves" next year. The smart TVs were a hit with the families being able to log in to their own netflix, amazon, etc accounts!
The ONLY downfall to this location vs other homes we've stayed in was the proximity to the public access and the condo across the street. The beach was very crowded directly in front of our home each morning! We made sure to set up our chairs and tents before 7am each morning to secure our spot directly in front of our home. We purposely rent directly on the beach so we can set up in front of the home allowing our younger children (10-12yo) in the group to run back to the house for forgotten items, lunch, etc and we can watch them from the beach. The home was immaculate and the location to the public access is not a reflection of the owners....just added info for future renters if you prefer to have a less crowded beach. In all of our past trips we have never had an issue with people setting up directly in front of the houses or "on top" of us. Normally people are considerate and move in between houses or in front of an open lot (there are 3 adjacent to this house). Overall, we LOVED the home and the property management is always helpful and friendly!

We rented the home for the long labor day weekend. The home right on the beach and has a board walk over the dunes to the sandy beach area. The beach is very nice and the wave action was strong this weekend. The house has beach chairs, floats and surf boards for your use. We brought a canopy to use as we have small children with us. The small wading pool was very nice for small children. The in house elevator helped with us older people who have trouble with stairs. The rooms are very roomy and we each had a bathroom with the bedroom. With 7 adults and 7 small kids we needed the room. I loved being on the beach and able to sit on the porch and watch the waves.

This is the second time we have stayed at Summer Lovin and both times the house was perfect for us. 12 of our family make annual trek and the room sizes and house really fit our needs. Many many thanks for sharing your wonderful home. Our family of three generations (8 adults and 6 kiddos) were so comfortable with the many bedrooms with private bath.

We loved the large family dining table and enjoyed the large deck each morning and evening. The kids will not forget their nights in the cute bunk room and the handy outside shower. And we were thrilled to find your assortment of beach toys and beach chairs for our use.

Since we always chose to cook most all of our meals at home, we thoroughly enjoyed your very well equipped kitchen and outdoor charcoal grill. Of course, the convenient short walk straight to the beach made our comings and goings all day so easy.

Everything about our stay was just perfect!

Everything went well - had to call manager to reprogram the front door lock upon arrival. Also, having the DW unloaded and towels washed, dried, folded before 10 am is too tall of an order. We made it happen, but, usually do not have to meet those requests. All else went fine. Enjoyed the house and its location.

We ask if at all possible that you wash a load of towels and get them into the dryer and another load started in the washer--you would be amazed how many fewer lost items are left when the towels are not left everywhere!

I brought my 4 children and spouses and 7 grandchildren aged 10 and under. We had a wonderful time! The grandkids loved the pool! We had plenty of room and the views were perfect. It's located close to the souvenir shops and I spent several hours shopping and spending more than I wanted! I would love to come back!

This was by far the best rental we have stayed in at Gulf Shores in 7 years. The house was well layed out and very clean. The beach was so beautiful. On a scale of 1-10 this house was a 10. Check in/check out was easy.

Every year I take my family and friends to the beach as a gift. I was tired of buying gifts for occasions throughout the year and decided instead I wanted to create memories for everyone. The week is always the week before Mother's Day so everyone can make plans to be there. This year we had three generations of family! Everyone can spend time together or individually. It is "good for the soul" and hopefully we are instilling the "importance of family" in the younger generation. This is the second time we've stayed in this house and have already booked it again for next year. It is beautiful, spacious, on the beach and close to the HWY 59 intersection. We love it and would recommend it for your next beach trip.

We rented this home for 6 days and 5 nights to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday and it was fantastic. Home is clean and decorated super fun and beachy. Location was perfect. Even though it's on a public beach we never had issues with overcrowding or noise. This is the perfect house for multiple families. Dining table is large, plenty of seating in living room and there are plenty of chairs on the patio. The kids room is adorable and our kids LOVED staying in there. We would have liked to have had a baby gate to put up since the stairs are right outside the kids room, though. The pool/hot tub is cute but only our kids played in it since it's pretty small and we couldn't find any settings to heat it up for the adults. It's also at the front of the house so it's totally separate from beach and patio. House has empty lot next door so it doesn't feel overcrowded. Elevator quit working day 2 but we were relieved bc we didn't want our kids in there any way lol. Parking is spacious. We fit a suburban, compact car, small suv and 4 door truck all in the driveway and had plenty of room. Overall, it was perfect and we would totally stay there again!

We enjoyed the felt like a home, rather than just a rental house. Location was fantastic. Loved the views from the decks and the sunroom when the rains came. The library was an added bonus. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with pots, pans and essentials.
A couple of items need to be addressed: the carpeting on the stairs needs to be cleaned and grout in various areas needs attention. The addition 0f an actual vacuum would help to maintain the carpeted areas.
GS Vacation Rentals did a good job when repairs were requested, often within the hour. Looking forward to our return next winter.

The location was the best for us--no worries about grandchildren crossing the street to reach the beach. The elevator was great for me since I have trouble walking & easily accommodated my travel wheelchair. The view was great & very much enjoyed from inside as well from the large porch. Being able to eat outside also (weather permitting) was wonderful. Everything was as described & as always well cared for.

House more than met our needs. Bunk room was a big hit with my great grandsons. Beach equipment was very nice to have, Splash pool was nice to relax in at the end of the day. Only issue is that we had to place chairs on beach by 6am to reserve spot in front of house. Even then we found people setting up on top is us.

The home also boasts such amenities as a private splash pool heatable from October to May for $60 a day, an elevator, spacious living areas, and broad porches on both levels ensuring it has all the luxuries you’ll want for your coastal getaway.

The main floor is centered around a great room perfect for gathering and dining together with plenty of seating around the large smart TV over the fireplace and a dining table and bar seating for eating together. A well-stocked kitchen boasting a full refrigerator, a dishwasher, an undercounter icemaker, drip and Keurig coffee makers, and everything else you could need to prepare and serve meals for your whole party while enjoying great beach views. The floor also has 2 bedrooms; one King bedroom with a deluxe private bathroom featuring a double vanity, a shower, and a separate tub, and a bedroom with a pair of Queen beds with an adjoining bathroom which also has hall access. The floor is complete with a laundry.

The top floor is all about bedrooms with a selection of 4. The first of these is a beachfront King suite with a Twin Daybed and Trundle, access to a private porch, and a private deluxe bathroom boasting a double vanity, shower, and separate bathtub. The next is a bunkroom with 2 Twin-over-Twin bunks and a private bath. The 2 final bedrooms boast King beds and private bathrooms. 

Outside you’ll enjoy relaxing in the sun and seaside breeze on both levels of porches. The main floor porch is further enhanced by space for al fresco dining. The ground floor further expands the opportunity with a charcoal grill perfect for cookouts or beachside barbecue, more shaded sitting and living space, and a private heatable splash pool perfect for taking a refreshing dip. Finally, the highlight of it all waits just a few steps across the dune walkover: your own private stretch of sugar-white sand beach. A hot and cold water outdoor shower makes washing away the sand simple.

Summer Lovin’ is located 2.5 miles west of Hwy 59 and the center of Gulf Shores putting it just minutes from the best attractions yet still away from the condos and crowds.

This property is not available for rental to groups under the age of 25 or for bachelor or bachelorette parties. For Music Festival dates, a refundable damage/cleaning deposit is required to ensure the property is maintained as expected.
