Huge, incredible house directly on a quiet stretch of west end beach. The house was way bigger than we needed but everyone spread out. The kitchen was fully equipped with most anything we needed. There was even a large undercounter icemaker at the beverage counter!

Our family has been vacationing in this area for over 30 years. We now have three married children giving us a total of seven grandchildren aging in range from 11-17, most of them are 15. This was the absolute epitome of dreams coming true. The 'free' daily offers for experiences and adventures allowed everyone opportunities DAILY that they would have not had otherwise. The home was equipped with every thing and more we would ever need for a week. The location is ideal for privacy and yet conveniently located for shopping. We enjoyed watching dolphins show off daily! The decor was very tasteful, and the home was spotlessly clean. The management staff responded quickly when we had a question. We will definitely contact them for future vacations.

This house was beautifully located, super clean, and the perfect place for our family of 9 couples to stay and all have our own master. The whole house is very spacious!! We’ve been coming to here for years, Our favorite spot in gulf shores so far !

We just enjoyed a week at the Southern Holiday home. We were a family of 16 people with lots of adults and children. The home was perfert for our group. It was nicely built and the ammenities were great. The kitchen (important room) was amazing. Well outfitted with practically everything you needed to cook or bake. With a family room and laundry room on every floor we could all have something going on.
The pool was a great size too with the beach access for volleyball and other beach activities. We had to call regarding a few items that needed to be fixed and they were right there to take care of our needs. I completely recommend this home to any large family group.

We had a wonderful experience at Southern Holiday. There were 28 members of our family, ranging from age 79 to 7 months and we stayed for 7 nights. This home was beautiful, very comfortable and well stocked with all the essentials (and many non-essentials) to make all of our meals and stay very comfortably. There was ample storage space, 3 dishwashers, 3 refrigerators (on the 1st floor) and the home was so roomy and open. There were washing machines on every level, TV's and living areas on every level as well as all the bedrooms. With 28 people, including 16 kids, it was never crowded and there were plenty of places to go to if you wanted some privacy. The pool was nice, there were plenty of outdoor chairs and tables, and the convenience of walking right down the deck to the beach was awesome. Although it was spring break, the beach in front of our house was never crowded (really just our crew and a few passers by). We will definitely go back!

This house had everything and then some in the kitchen, laundry rooms and living areas. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Located close to everything, but far enough away for the peace and quiet you want on a vacation.

We have been going on annual beach trips for over 10 years now in Panama City. After having no luck finding a bigger home to fit our group in the area we started looking elsewhere. I found a house we loved on GSVR, but it was booked. I called and they were super helpful and told me about Southern Holiday that would be completed by this summer. This house was an absolute dream! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was so well stocked, and the extra sinks/dishwashers made cleaning for a big group so much easier. We had a few problems and as soon as we called someone was sent over to fix it. The beach was not crowded and so peaceful. I cannot say enough good things about the house, area, and GSVR. We are already booked for next year and cannot wait to come back!

This property is over the top! Everything is high end from the linens to the appliances. We had 22 people ranging in ages from 7 months to 78 years old. The three living areas provided great spaces for all age groups. The kitchen is wonderful and we all sat together to eat all of our meals. The elevator is awesome so you don't have to carry anything up the stairs. This house is located on a very quiet beach. No fighting for space for your group. Over 100 feet of private beach. Each bedroom has a balcony with very comfy chairs. The kids loved the bunk rooms and had so much fun basically having their own floor.

Southern Holiday is a stunning new home on 100' of private beach in the West Beach area of Gulf Shores. With 9 bedrooms (all beachfront), 9 full and 2 half baths, a beachfront private pool that can be heated October-May for $60 per day, an elevator, and lots of custom touches. You won't ever want to leave!

All 3 floors feature gathering spaces plus private beachfront bedrooms, each with a private bath and beachfront balcony. Southern Holiday offers spectacular views of both the Gulf and Little Lagoon as this quiet section of beach has just one row of homes on the beach, across from a row of homes on Little Lagoon.

The main floor features large living areas plus a King master suite, a laundry and a half bath. Outside you'll find lots of covered porches, outdoor seating and dining, a 12'x16' private pool and a dune walkover. The middle level has a second living room with a wet bar and large TV, plus 6 more of the 9 bedrooms, 4 Kings, 1 with a pair of Queens, and a bunk room with 3 built-in XL Twins (no upper bunks). You'll also find a laundry and lots of beachfront porches.

The top level has a third large living room with a large TV, a long desk in case you have to squeeze in some work or studying while you are here, plus the last 2 of the 9 bedrooms. Each of these has 2 XL twins over 2 queens (so each room sleeps up to 6) and has a deluxe bathroom with a large vanity area with a triple sink, plus a private shower and toilet room, and a separate tub and toilet. Essentially each of these rooms has two bathrooms so lots of people can be getting ready at the same time!

Southern Holiday is located 5.6 miles west of Hwy 59 and the center of Gulf Shores.
