This house had plenty of space for our group of 24. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. The kids loved the game room and the theater room. We needed maintenance for a tripped breaker. He came out in about 30 minutes to fix the issue. We hope to stay here again!

We really appreciated all of the free activities that this reservation came with! The home was clean and tidy when we arrived. We appreciated the ice machine and three refrigerators! We appreciated that maintenance came daily to check the pool and make minor repairs. The company handling our stay was very responsive and quick to replenish supplies that were near empty when we arrived; we have never rented from this service and had already bought more supplies by the time the new ones arrived. Understanding what comes with the reservation (restocked supplies or at least fully stocked supplies) may have been helpful, but we also may not have seen it in the description. A Rumba and/or properly functioning vacuum would be nice for main level up keep during the week; the vacuum that was there did not pick up dirt (there was no brook or mop), might have been accidentally left out because it didn't really work and did not have any hoses.
We would have appreciated a large trash can by the pool area and 2 bath towels per guest, as only one washer and one dryer worked. I think the cleaning service should have checked all TV/remotes to make sure they were working and refilled hand soap, etc. prior to our arrival. We had a big day planned on Tuesday and woke up to no hot water and no gas to cook; this of course changed our day and added additional stress & expenses that were not expected (33 people out to eat instead of planned breakfast at the house, rescheduling plans, etc.). All in all it was a great stay and I highly recommend this company and place! Hopefully someone will reach out to discuss the propane issue and compensate us for the inconvenience!

Resting beach place was perfect for our group of 5 couples, 5 adult singles and a bunch of grandkids. Everything about the house is thoughtfully planned with family groups in mind. We prefer to eat at home on vacation and the kitchen was very well equipped. This was one of our favorite beach houses ever!

Everything is great about this house. Very nice and clean. Every bedroom has their own bathroom. Large kitchen, three refrigerators, double ovens, ice maker and plenty of seating. Stocked with pots & pans, plates, cups & glasses and silverware. We really enjoyed the game room with arcade games, pool table and shuffle board. Our favorite was the movie room. We watched movies every night and it was great on the rainy days. So many great things about this house I can’t list them all. Already planning on booking for next year.

We chose Resting Beach Place to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday - It was perfect! - The beach, game room, theatre, and heated pool provided something for everyone - The kitchen was well equipped too - 3 refrigerators, commercial ice machine, 2 dishwashers - etc - One of our criteria was having an elevator - Was great for me elderly parents and was nice to have for bringing up supplies and luggage - Highly recommend!

Looking for a beach house with amenities for teenagers? This is the place! The pictures online lured us in and our stay did not disappoint. Having the theater and game room were such an added bonus to the incredible sleeping accommodations. The kitchen and family area were perfect for our big crew as well. Although there were a couple of maintenance issues, the rental company worked quickly to get them resolved. They delivered ice due to the ice machine being broken on two occasions because they could not facilitate the repair during our stay. Resting Beach Place is our new favorite and we have already have it booked for 2024.

Resting Beach Place has everything you could want, and more with a big living area, dining space for everyone, a game room, a theater room and 11 bedrooms, each with a private bath. Outside you'll enjoy a beachfront deck complete with private pool that can be heated October-May for $60 per day, lounge chairs, even a pool bath for your convenience, and a dune walkover. Summer weeks are Saturday to Saturday. This home has been very popular among people staying in Gulf Shores. Some of you may remember it as Ola Vista. We are very excited to offer guests this newly renamed house, Resting Beach Place as part of our collection of Big Beautiful Beach Homes.
The main floor features a huge great room with plenty of gathering space for everyone to eat together. The kitchen features 3 full size refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 ranges, a large commercial ice machine just off the kitchen and a long breakfast bar. You'll find a game room with billiards, a shuffleboard table, and a video game table. There are also 3 full sized arcade games in the entry hall. Beyond that you'll find a theater room with comfortable seating and 3 main floor bedrooms including a handicap accessible King bedroom and bath with a roll-in shower, a second King bedroom, and a room with a Full over Full Bunk. There is also a half bath on this floor (in addition to the half bath outside by the pool).
The top floor has 8 additional bedrooms including 2 beachfront King bedrooms, 3 additional Kings, a room with 2 Queens, and 2 bunkrooms, each with 1 Queen, 2 Fulls and 2 Twin beds.
